ConnectedGroup in Australia seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead the NeoCloud platform's architecture, deployment and operations for demanding AI workloads, including training, tuning and inference.

You will set the technical direction, build and lead a high-calibre infrastructure, platform and operations team, own reliability, capacity and cost, drive multi-node GPU clusters, high-bandwidth networking, storage and security, and work with the CEO on investment priorities and strategic

Experience building production-grade GPU/cloud infrastructure.
Led operations with accountability for availability, performance and cost.
Direct experience with GPU platforms and distributed AI workloads.
Improved reliability, deployment speed or unit economics.
Led engineering and operations teams.
Sound commercial decisions involving capital and suppliers.
Communicated with engineers, customers, executives and investors.

Responsibilities

Define tech strategy and reference architecture for NeoCloud.
Oversee GPU compute, networking, storage, platform software, automation, observability, security.
Ensure data-centre readiness, hardware integration, benchmarking and production handover.
Manage service reliability, performance, capacity, incident response and BCM.
Design customer solutions, due diligence and onboarding.
Drive deployment economics, capacity planning and technology refresh.
Recruit and develop infrastructure, platform, and operations teams.
