Woodleigh School on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula invites applications for Head of Careers, based at Langwarrin South Senior Campus. This full-time role leads an innovative careers education program for Years 7–12, guiding students, parents and staff through transitions from school to further study or work.

You will coordinate career development activities, oversee Morrisby testing, organise mock interviews and industry tours, and partner with school leaders to deliver high-quality counselling

Qualifications

• Experience with Careers and VET programs.
• Experience in careers education.
• Knowledge of relevant VCAA and tertiary admissions requirements.
• Understanding of teaching pedagogies in careers CET education.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of Career Education and Development.
• Coordinate Year 10 Careers Program including career assessment instruments (Morrisby).
• Coordinate a team to deliver Year 9 job-seeking and interview preparation (Portfolio).
• Organise Yr. 11 Industry Tour program with external partners.
• Coordinate Mock Interview program for Year 9 students.
• Provide Individual Student Counselling and Parent Interface.
• Organise events and professional development.
• Communicate information to students, parents and staff.
• Perform administration and coordination duties.
