Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula, a Catholic secondary college, is seeking a Learning Leader - Careers (POL 2) for a 3-year tenure alongside an ongoing teaching appointment.

The Careers Learning Leader leads the Careers Team in designing, delivering and evaluating a whole-school careers education program for Years 9–12, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum Framework and CICA Professional Standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading school careers education programs.
• Ability to build partnerships with tertiary providers, industry and community.
• Experience using data to inform career and pathway advice.
• Familiarity with Victorian Careers Curriculum Framework and CICA standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead the careers program at Padua College.
• Lead the careers team in providing up-to-date information on post-secondary education, training and employment pathways.
• Provide subject and pathways planning advice for students, parents and teachers.
• Coordinate the use of data to inform career and pathway advice for students, parents, and teachers.
• Coordinate work experience and structured workplace learning with the VET coordinator and the senior pathways team.
• Build and sustain partnerships with tertiary providers, industry, employers and community networks.
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the principal or college leadership.
