Job summary

EREA Flexible Schools Ltd invites applications for the Head of Campus at Burdekin Education Program, commencing January 2027. You will lead campus operations, staff and student wellbeing under trauma-informed practice and Catholic school charter principles.

The role requires strategic leadership, collaboration with the Area Principal and Regional Support, and oversight of curriculum, wellbeing, and accountability processes, with potential travel to Townsville or Brisbane as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in educational, welfare or community services environments.
• Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a teacher in the relevant state.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead trauma-informed practice and wellbeing support.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and leadership of the Burdekin campus.
• Develop and implement learning choices (curriculum) to support individual learning plans.
• Oversee wellbeing, school environment, and accountability processes; travel to Townsville/Brisbane as required.
