The University of New England is seeking a Network Infrastructure professional based in Armidale to join the Technology and Digital Services team. The role supports teaching and research by developing, supplying and maintaining high-performance compute platforms and HPC resources for highly technical courses.

You will collaborate with academic and professional staff to plan future requirements, manage budgets and deliver scalable infrastructure that underpins UNE's education and research

Competenze

• Experience with multi-user HPC and general-purpose compute systems.
• Experience working in research and/or academic environments.
• Highly skilled in Systems Administration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collegial approach to collaboration.
• Ability to consult and develop roadmaps and architecture for diverse solutions.

Mansioni

• Act as a bridge between the centralised Technology and Digital Services directorate and the academic research/teaching community.
• Work with academic staff to develop, supply and maintain platforms that support teaching and learning for highly technical courses and provide high-performance compute for research.
• Liaise with academic and professional staff to plan future requirements, determine demand, develop budgets and deliver platforms.
