Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts operates two intimate Tasmanian properties, Pumphouse Point and Derwent Bridge Hotel, and is seeking a Chef who loves variety and crafting memorable dining experiences for guests. You will work across both locations, deliver consistently high‑quality dishes, showcase local produce, and lead a kitchen team while upholding food safety, presentation, and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef in a high-quality restaurant, hotel or resort environment.
• High-end dining experience relevant to guest experiences at two Tasmanian properties.
• Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Bring creativity, passion and attention to detail to every service.
• Showcase contemporary dishes using local produce.
• Collaborate with kitchen and Food & Beverage teams.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.
• Support smooth kitchen operations across both properties.
• Help create memorable dining experiences that reflect each location.
