Job summary

Aspire Hospitality Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at one of our Albany venues. You will manage the team, menu planning and daily costs, ensuring quality and consistency across services.

We require a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, and at least 3 years as a Chef including 1 year in a leadership role. Visa sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in menu costing, supplier orders and rostering.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Minimum 3 years as a Chef, with at least 1 year leading a kitchen.
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team through every service at the venue.
• Plan and cost the menu, specials and seasonal changes.
• Order stock, manage suppliers and control costs and wastage.
• Prepare rosters within labour budget and pass safety checks.
• Recruit, train and supervise chefs, cooks and kitchen hands.
