You will manage inventory, food costing, and ensure NSW food safety standards, while supervising prep, cooking and presentation. The role involves menu input, staff scheduling and training in a high-pressure environment.

This permanent position offers 38-45 hours per week with a negotiable schedule and a salary of AUD 80,000 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary training / culinary degree.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fine dining restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Daily kitchen management and service preparation.
• Inventory control & food costing management.
• Maintain storage, rotation, quality, and appearance to NSW food safety standards.
• Supervise preparation, cooking and presentation.
• Input in menu development and schedule staff/training.
