Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a qualified Head Chef to lead the Warrigal kitchen in Albion Park Rail. This full-time, permanent position offers a Monday to Friday roster and the chance to deliver high-quality meals in an aged care setting.

You will oversee daily preparation, ensure dietary needs are met, and maintain food safety standards while fostering a collaborative kitchen environment and excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cooking and bulk catering.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and menu planning.
• Ability to meet dietary needs and texture-modified diets.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily food preparation and bulk cooking to ensure meals are delivered efficiently and consistently.
• Preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Preparing texture-modified meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
• Coordinating tray service and meal presentation.
• Providing excellent customer service to residents.
• Supporting efficient kitchen operations and maintaining food safety standards.
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
