Port Noarlunga Tavern, part of the RD Jones Group, seeks a Head Chef to lead the Sous Chef and kitchen team in delivering high-quality, consistent dishes. The role requires passion for presenting quality food and strong leadership across a 7-day roster.

You will contribute to hygiene, food safety and cost management while guiding the team to meet budget targets and elevate guest experiences.

Ability to work to a budget and control wage and food expenses.
Must be available to work across a 7-day roster.

Port Noarlunga Tavern is known for its warm hospitality, great food and entertainment, located just a short walk from the beach. Our summer pop up, Porties Reef Shack, has been a hit this year, run by the team from Porties.

Role

As Head Chef you will play an integral role, leading the Sous Chef and kitchen team. You must have a genuine passion for presenting quality food and be able to supervise a team to deliver that same level of quality and consistency.

Porties is part of the RD Jones Group which has 14 venues within South Australia providing exciting career and development opportunities. We also provide an Employee Assistance Program (Counselling) for staff and immediate family to support good mental health.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
