The Big Easy Group is seeking a Head Baker to lead our pastry program in Adelaide, delivering breads and pastries to premium venues. You will work with a talented chef team to develop products and control costs in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified pastry chef with Restaurant Award.
• Experience in high-volume premium dining environments.
• Ability to lead pastry production and manage a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, shaping and baking sourdough breads and laminated doughs.
• Preparing ingredients as per company specifications.
• Responsible for the pastry kitchen.
• Manage costs by minimising wastage and maximising output.
• Manage financial KPIs including Cost of Goods and Staff Wages.
• Ensure guest experience metrics are achieved.
• Good communication and effective time management skills.
• Keeping customers happy and coming back!
