Job summary

Hornby Transport Services is seeking drivers to fill local HC tipper roles within the business, operating semi tippers to deliver freight to and from Sydney, Newcastle and rural areas. This is a Monday to Friday position with some overtime Saturdays as required.

You will join a safety‑driven team with a modern fleet, complete daily pre‑start checks, and comply with HTS policies while maintaining load restraint and fatigue management.

Hornby Transport Services is seeking drivers to fill local HC tipper roles within the business. Working with a modern fleet and state of the art technology, you will be a part of Hornby Transport Services commitment to safety, sustainability, and efficiency.

What does the job look like?

The job involves operating semi tippers/ BD Tippers to deliver freight to and from Sydney, Newcastle and rural areas. This is a Monday to Friday position with some overtime Saturdays as required. Penalties paid on all overtime hours.

Key areas:

• Participating and committing to safety standards and COR requirements at all times
• Must have road ranger experience
• Daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
• Complying with the HTS Operations, Policies and Procedures
• Managing fatigue in line with relevant fatigue guidelines
