Western Freight Management is seeking an experienced HR/HC driver for local and regional runs based at Eastern Creek, NSW. The role includes Sydney to Newcastle/Gosford routes four days a week and Monday pickups around Sydney in a 14-pallet rigid.

You will perform pre‑departure checks, load and secure freight, handle paperwork, and maintain vehicle presentation while adhering to safety standards. Join a family‑run business with a modern fleet and supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ HR or HC driving experience.
• Experience with 18-speed Road Ranger gearboxes.
• Reliable and safety-focused with good presentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-departure checks on trucks and trailers.
• Load, secure, and deliver freight safely and efficiently.
• Complete site inductions and follow site rules.
• Manage delivery paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and presentable truck.
• Refuel and report maintenance needs as required.
• Perform local and NSW country deliveries.

HR or HC Driver – Local & Regional (Eastern Creek Based)

Location: Eastern Creek, NSW

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM (Penalty rates included)

WFM is a proudly family-owned transport company operating from Eastern Creek, Orange, Parkes (NSW), Tullamarine (VIC), and Bundamba (QLD). We provide linehaul and logistics services to a range of blue-chip clients across Australia.

With a fleet of over 180 modern trucks, we’re now looking for an experienced HR or HC Driver to join our Eastern Creek team. The role involves 7am Starts Sydney to Newcastle & Gosford 4 x a week and on Monday doing pick ups around Sydney driving a 14 pallet rigid

What You’ll Do

• Conduct pre-departure checks on trucks and trailers
• Load, secure, and deliver freight safely and efficiently
• Complete site inductions and follow all site rules
• Manage delivery paperwork and documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and presentable truck
• Refuel and report maintenance needs as required
• Perform local and NSW country deliveries

What You’ll Bring
