Job summary

Linfox is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver for our Derrimut, Melbourne distribution centre. This long-term, full-time role involves local palletised freight deliveries to diverse sectors, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will operate HC vehicles from a modern, dangerous-goods-compliant facility, coordinating with warehousing teams and customers while upholding Linfox standards and professionalism on every delivery.

Qualifications

• A current and valid HC license.
• Hands-on knowledge of tautliner trailers and load restraint.
• A strong commitment to safe work practices and compliance.
• Familiarity with Melbourne’s West and its freight corridors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills — you’re the face of Linfox on the road.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HC semi-trailer vehicles for local deliveries.
• Strap and secure palletised freight using correct restraint methods.
• Liaise with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Represent Linfox professionally with every customer interaction.
• Comply with all OHS and dangerous goods handling procedures.
• Complete delivery documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.

What does the job look like?

Due to continued growth at our distribution centre in Derrimut, Melbourne, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join our team. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for the right candidate.

This role is based at our state-of-the-art, dangerous goods-compliant facility, designed to support the safe and efficient distribution of industrial lubricants and specialty products. You’ll be responsible for the local delivery of palletised freight to a diverse customer base across mining, agriculture, transport, and industrial sectors. Key areas:
