Job summary

Linfox is hiring experienced HC Drivers for our Consumer and Healthcare Group at a brand-new Gateshead NSW base. You will perform night-shift changeover duties, operate modern equipment, and deliver safe, reliable transport services for our major customers.

We offer career progression, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment. Key requirements include a current HC license, a safe-work history, and flexibility for overtime. Familiarity with the Sydney metro area is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Requires current and valid HC license and a history of safe work practices.
• Familiarity with Sydney metro area and surrounding regions north and south of Sydney is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communications skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive in accordance with Linfox Safety Standards and Vision Zero.
• Follow coupling and uncoupling procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Linfox professionally.
• Comply with chain of responsibility and road transport legislation.

What does the job look like?

We’re looking for experienced HC Drivers to join Linfox’s Consumer and Healthcare Group at our brand-new customer based in Gateshead NSW. Completing changeover work, you’ll operate modern equipment and play a key role in providing safe and reliable transport services. Join a leading logistics business and enjoy consistent work as part of a new customer operation. This is a Permanent position based on the Night shift (7pm start Mon - Fri). Key Responsibilities:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
