Job summary

Tassal Group is seeking a Harvester to work across Dover, Okehampton or Strahan in a hands-on marine role. This maximum-term position runs until March 2027 and places you in a fast-paced team dedicated to safe, high-standard harvesting of salmon.

You will support daily harvesting activities, monitor safety protocols, and assist with maintenance tasks. Applicants should be physically fit, safety-conscious and ready to learn in a dynamic aquaculture environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be physically capable of active work in marine environments.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and good teamwork.
  • Current driver’s licence preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Harvest salmon safely and efficiently in a marine setting.
  • Monitor equipment and fish flow to ensure quality and safety.
  • Assist with vessel and equipment cleanup and general maintenance.
  • Follow safety and operating standards at all times.

Job description

Join Tassal's Marine Operations team as a Harvester and play a hands-on role in helping sustainably feed tomorrow. This is a maximum-term role until March 2027, based across Dover, Okehampton or Strahan. You'll work in a fast-paced, physical environment with a supportive team to safely harvest and handle salmon to a high standard.

What You'll Do

You'll support daily harvesting activities while helping keep our people, product and operations safe.

  • Harvest salmon safely and efficiently
  • Monitor fish flow and equipment
  • Complete vessel and equipment cleanup
  • Support general maintenance tasks
  • Follow safety and operating standards
