Cafe Sydney in Sydney Harbour offers a part-time permanent Kitchen Steward role in a busy kitchen, maintaining cleanliness of equipment, utensils and workspaces.

You will operate industrial dishwashers, hand-wash larger cookware, and help keep the kitchen hygienic and well organised. We value hardworking team players who can work in a fast-paced setting and Fridays across a seven-day operation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operating industrial dishwashers for plates, cutlery, and glassware.
• Manually washing pots, pans, and larger kitchen equipment.
• Emptying bins and maintaining kitchen cleanliness during service.
• Assisting with stocking and organising kitchen supplies.
• Supporting chefs by ensuring a steady supply of clean equipment.
• Stock and organise kitchen supplies to ensure smooth workflow.
