Andaz Gold Coast, part of Hyatt, is seeking a practical Handyperson to support maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas. You will respond to requests, assist with general repairs and help keep the hotel in top condition for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance or facilities role.
• Practical skills across general building and property maintenance.
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety and quality.
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends when required.
• Trade qualifications are valued but not essential.
• Must already have ongoing and current working rights for Australia.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a practical, reliable Handyperson to join our Engineering team. You’ll support the upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, responding to maintenance requests and helping create a safe, comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
