Job summary

Andaz Gold Coast is seeking a practical Handyperson to join our Engineering team, maintaining guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas while responding to maintenance requests to keep the hotel safe and welcoming for guests and colleagues.

You will perform general repairs, assist with painting, carpentry, tiling and basic plumbing, and liaise with colleagues and contractors to resolve issues promptly, all while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in handyperson, maintenance or facilities.
• Practical skills across general building and property maintenance.
• Positive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends.
