Job summary

Andaz Gold Coast is seeking a practical Handyperson to help keep our hotel in peak condition, maintaining guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas while supporting safety and efficiency across the Engineering team.

You will respond to maintenance requests, assist with painting, carpentry and basic plumbing, and work with contractors to ensure high-quality upkeep. The role offers hands-on work, teamwork and opportunities to grow within Hyatt.

Qualifications

• Experience in a handyperson or maintenance role.
• General building and property maintenance skills.
• Safety-minded with a focus on quality.
• Good communication and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Trade qualifications are valued but not essential.
• Must already have ongoing and current working rights for Australia.

We’re looking for a practical, reliable Handyperson to join our Engineering team. You’ll support the upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, responding to maintenance requests and helping create a safe, comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.
