Job description

NicheWorks Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Handyman/Builder/Service Field Technician to join our team in QLD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing efficient and reliable maintenance and handyperson services to our valued customers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our clients' properties.

What you'll be doing

Perform a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks, including handyman work ranging but not limited to carpentry, tiling, floor repairs minor plastering and painting

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions in a timely manner

Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Maintain detailed records of work completed and order materials as required

Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

Collaborate with the broader team to identify opportunities for process improvements

Be able to use software programs for updating works and signing in and out of site

What we're looking for

Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a handyman or in a similar field service role

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Proficient in a range of maintenance and repair techniques

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn new skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
