Job summary

HelpAlong is a registered NDIS provider delivering services across South East Queensland. We seek a reliable Maintenance Handyperson to support our disability services across the region, carrying out general repairs, minor fixes and preventative upkeep across our SIL homes in North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Ipswich and Gympie.

You will assist with basic property tasks during client move-ins or move-outs and travel between sites; car access is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in home maintenance or handyperson tasks.
• A practical, can-do approach to work.
• Able to work around clients in a respectful and calm way.
• Willingness to obtain a NDIS Disability Worker Screening Check, Police Check and Qld Working with Children Check.
