The Lyall Hotel is seeking a dedicated Handy Man / Maintenance Person for a full-time, Tuesday to Saturday role in Melbourne. You will handle painting, maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back of house, delivering reliable service and problem solving across a variety of tasks.

Reporting to Hotel Management, the role requires strong time management, good communication with guests and colleagues, and a flexible approach to maintain all property areas in pristine condition.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and hardworkingHandy Man / Maintenance Person to join The Lyall Hotel on a full-time basis, working Tuesday to Saturday.

Reporting directly to Hotel Management, this role is accountable for undertaking the painting, maintenance of all guest rooms public areas, and back of house of the property.

This position is perfect for someone who can do a bit or a lot of everything.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Painting
• General carpentry
• Plaster repairs
• Door maintenance
• Tiling
• Other general maintenance
• Maintain regular communication with management regarding all maintenance works

To be considered, you should possess:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
