Job summary

Magic Door Industries is seeking a technician to deliver mechanical preventative and ad hoc service for garage doors, gates, motors and external venetian blinds. The role involves planning daily field tasks and working unsupervised in the field.

You will perform mechanical fault finding and diagnostic work, supported by a service and contracts department with over 55 years of experience, located in St Peters (2044).

Qualifications

• Mechanical fault finding and diagnostic capability.
• NSW driver's license.
• Permanent residency.
• Reconnect/disconnect electrical license.
• Referenced history of the use of such skills.
• Industry white card (advantageous).

Job description

The selected technician will be given daily tasks and locations to provide mechanical preventative and ad hoc service to garage doors, gates, motors and external venetian blinds by the service and contracts department of Magic Door Industries, established for over 55 years, located at St Peters 2044. The person will be self-motivated and happy to work and plan their day in the field unsupervised.
