Job summary

Pace Appointments Pty is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the Sydney warehouse operation for an established Australian business supplying technical products.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safe, organised, high-performing operations, with accountability for inbound/outbound, inventory control and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with purchasing, sales and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Manager or similar operational leader.
• Proven ability to coach and develop warehouse teams.
• Strong knowledge of inbound, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Solid inventory control experience including cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Ability to plan workloads and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Experience with warehouse ERP systems.
• Knowledge of WHS and safe practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Current forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach warehouse team across inbound and outbound operations.
• Plan workloads and allocate resources based on orders and stock.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched on time.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, put-away and storage of goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts.
• Resolve stock discrepancies and process issues promptly.
• Ensure safe handling of bulky, fragile, and high-value items.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with freight providers and internal teams.
• Foster WHS compliance and safe warehouse practices.
