Rooftop on Central in Gregory Hills, NSW, is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the restaurant and bar's day‑to‑day operations. You will oversee front‑of‑house and bar teams, drive service standards, manage rostering and costs, and partner with ownership to run a professional, profitable venue.

This full‑time role requires a hands‑on leader, strong hospitality background, NSW RSA, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Venue Manager or in a comparable hospitality management role.
• Strong leadership and staff-management experience in a restaurant, bar or high-volume venue.
• Current NSW RSA and knowledge of licensing, safety and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Lead, manage and motivate front-of-house and bar teams.
• Manage rosters, staffing levels and labour costs.
• Ensure consistently high customer service standards.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Manage busy weekend and event services.
• Monitor staff performance and workplace standards.
• Drive sales, upselling and overall venue performance.
• Manage stock levels, ordering and stock control.
• Ensure RSA, WHS and licensing requirements are followed.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar and events teams to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with functions, events and entertainment nights.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness and operational standards.
• Report to ownership/management regarding venue performance and staffing.
