Job summary

Rooftop on Central is seeking friendly Floor Staff / Waitstaff for part-time and casual shifts at our busy rooftop restaurant, bar and function venue in Gregory Hills. You will provide attentive service in a fast-paced environment and support events from casual dining to large functions.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive table service.

As part of the floor team at Rooftop on Central, a busy rooftop restaurant, bar and function venue in Gregory Hills, you'll provide friendly and attentive service in a fast-paced hospitality environment hosting casual dining, weekend drinks, birthdays, functions and large events.

Key responsibilities

• Providing friendly and attentive table service
• Taking food and beverage orders
• Running food and drinks
• Setting and clearing tables
• Assisting with functions and events
• Using the POS system and processing payments
• Maintaining a clean and organised floor
• Working closely with bar, kitchen and management teams

About you

• Previous restaurant, bar or hospitality experience, with 1 year experience preferred
• Confident, friendly and well presented
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and work well within a team
• Current NSW RSA preferred
• Flexibility across evenings and weekends
• Friday and Saturday availability highly desirable
• Part-time and casual positions available
