Riva Kitchen & Events is seeking an experienced venue manager to run our riverfront Brisbane cafe by day and a busy function venue by night. You’ll lead a team of 20, deliver cafe service and manage events with support from our dedicated function coordinator. Report to owners who work in the business and invest in managers.

RSA is required; a Food Safety Supervisor certificate is highly regarded. Salary is $70,000+ plus super, with a sales/labour bonus and a pathway into a growing multi-venue

Qualificações

• 2+ years managing a café, restaurant or venue, including functions and events
• Proven track record of recruiting, training and retaining strong hospitality teams
• Labour and cost-of-goods management experience
• Hands-on, lead-from-the-floor management style
• Calm under pressure during high-guest nights (250+)
• Current RSA (Food Safety Supervisor certificate highly regarded)

Responsabilidades

• Run venue day-to-day, leading a team of 20 and managing café service
• Deliver functions with support from function coordinator and supervisors
• Recruit, train and retain your team; manage rosters, labour and COGS against budget
• Report to owners who support your growth and development
