Job summary

Coronado Global Resources is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to improve the performance of Curragh’s two CHPPs near Blackwater. This role focuses on practical process engineering, debottlenecking, and implementing flowsheet changes, working directly with operators and maintenance teams.

You will test ideas, own projects from investigation to implementation, and live on-site with access to company housing options.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Process/Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy.
• Experience as a Process Engineer in a CHPP.
• A practical approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with operators and maintainers.
• A willingness to get out of the office and get your hands dirty.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with operators and maintainers.
• Identifying and delivering process improvements.
• Providing technical support to operational teams.
• Taking ownership of projects from investigation through to implementation.
• Getting into the plant and working alongside operators.
