Job summary

CAVBUS Group Logan Coaches is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to own day-to-day HR across a growing workforce in South East Queensland. You will work closely with managers, depot teams and employees, providing practical HR advice and managing employee relations matters in a busy operational environment.

You’ll report to the General Manager with autonomy to shape the HR function, supported by established policies, WHS framework and BrightHR.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling employee relations end-to-end.
• Sound knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES and awards is required.
• Ability to work autonomously with sound judgement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement from frontline to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical HR and employee relations advice to managers and leaders.
• Managing ER matters including performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and discipline.
• Supporting managers through complex people matters.
• Coordinating recruitment across roles including drivers.
• Onboarding, documentation and employee changes.
• Reviewing HR policies, contracts and position descriptions.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Maintaining accurate HR records in BrightHR.
• Collaborating with WHS partner and depot teams.
• Building trust with drivers and being an approachable presence across depots.
