• Personable professional with 3+ years of Human Resources experience.

• Strong communicator who can build relationships with all levels.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR practices including the Fair Work Act, NES and Modern Awards.
• Capable of working independently and managing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted HR Representative for Brisbane and CQ teams with on-the-ground support.
• Provide coaching to front-line leaders on Employee Relations, performance management, and team development.
• Support internal recruitment and implement talent management strategies.

• Collaborate with HR Manager to improve policies and streamline workflows.

What You'll Do

You will be the "go-to" for our Brisbane operations, ensuring they have the support they need to success.

• Serve as the trusted "go-to" HR Representative for our Brisbane and CQ teams, ensuring they have the on-the-ground support they need to succeed.
• Provide pragmatic, employee-centred coaching to front-line leaders regarding Employee Relations (ER), performance management, and team development.
• Support internal recruitment and execute talent management strategies to continue building our world-class operational and trades teams.
• Champion HMG's culture by driving proactive employee engagement, retention initiatives
• Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to drive continuous improvement, refining policies and modernising workflows to lean out administrative bottlenecks.
• Keep our records and processes fully compliant with current legislation, Modern Awards, and the Fair Work Act.
