Talent Corp in Canberra is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Security Engineer to support and maintain a secure IT environment within a Defence-related project. You will work across Windows, Linux, networking and security tooling to protect systems and data.

The role requires practical IT infrastructure experience, familiarity with security best practices and the ability to document procedures and remediation steps. NV2 security clearance is required to join the team.

Qualifications

• Solid background in IT infrastructure, systems administration or cyber security.
• Good understanding of Windows, Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of cyber security principles and security best practices.
• Exposure to tools such as Tanium, Trellix, Splunk and Active Directory would be highly regarded.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, SOPs or security documentation, including SSAs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across different technologies.
• Must have NV2 Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Support, maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and security applications.
• Administer security tools including Tanium, Trellix and Splunk.
• Work across Windows, Linux, Active Directory and networking environments.
• Monitor and investigate security issues and support remediation activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, security procedures and system security artefacts.
• Work closely with technical teams to maintain and improve the security environment.
