Job summary

Mercy Hospital for Women Heidelberg is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide co-ordination and procedural support within the Outpatient general gynaecology clinics. You will manage clinic sessions, triage referrals, and educate patients on conditions and care plans.

Joining the team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care, supported by a favourable part-time, fixed-term contract and on-site work at Heidelberg.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

About the opportunity

Mercy Hospital for Women’s Outpatient general gynaecology clinics operate Monday to Friday.

This role involves:

• Providing effective and efficient co-ordination and procedural support to the general gynaecology clinics.
• Managing clinic sessions to ensure adequate appointment availability and clinic utilisation.
• Triaging referrals and waitlist management.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
