Job summary

YMCA Victoria Point is seeking a Gymnastics Coordinator to lead our gymnastics program on a full-time permanent basis. You will oversee coaching, deliver high‑quality classes, and manage administration to keep the program running smoothly.

You will grow participation, attract new members and raise the Centre's profile through engaging activities and community initiatives, while guiding and training staff to uphold the YMCA gymnastics standards.

Qualifications

• Intermediate or above coaching qualification (Advanced desirable).
• Current Technical Membership with Gymnastics Queensland.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role with staff supervision.
• Senior First Aid and CPR certificate.
• National Police Check within 6 months, willing to obtain.
• Paid Blue Card, willing to obtain.
• Knowledge and practical experience in all gymnastics aspects.
• Customer-focused with energetic, proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the gymnastics program including recreational and team programs.
• Participate in community outreach to bring new business and awareness to the local community.
• Foster a positive gymnastics experience for all members, staff and class participants.
• Provide and lead trainings for all staff to maintain YMCA Gymnastics program standards.
• With team leaders, establish efficient rotation schedules and ensure lesson plans are current.

YMCA Victoria Point are seeking a talented Gymnastics Coordinator on a Full-Time Permanent to join our team located in Victoria Point

About the Role?

As a Gymnastics Coordinator with the YMCA, you will lead and grow our gymnastics program while making a real impact in our community. You’ll support and oversee our coaching team, ensure high-quality classes for members, deliver sessions when required, and manage the administration that keeps the program running smoothly.

You will have the opportunity to grow participation, attract new members and build the profile of our Centre through engaging activities and community initiatives.

What will my time look like?

• Coordinate all aspects of the gymnastics program including recreational and team programs.
• Participate in community outreach to bring new business and awareness to the local community.
• Foster a positive gymnastics experience for all members, staff and class participants.
• Provide and lead trainings for all staff to maintain and enforce the expectations of the YMCA Gymnastics program.
• With team leaders establish efficient rotation schedules and ensure all lesson plans are current.

Am I a good match?
