Job summary

YMCA Brisbane is seeking a casual Gymnastics Coach for our Jamboree Heights location. The role requires accreditation with the Queensland Gymnastics Association (minimum Level 1/Kinder gym) and practical gymnastics experience.

You will guide athletes, maintain safety standards, and support program delivery with a positive, team-oriented attitude. The position offers flexible casual hours within a supportive, inclusive Y culture that values coaching excellence, child safety, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Accreditation with Queensland Gymnastics Association (min Level 1/Kinder gym).
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of gymnastics.
• Demonstrated results orientation, sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificates, or willingness to obtain.
• Positive Notice Blue Card, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Timely set-up of gymnastics equipment and commencement of the class.
• Check that all activities have adequate matting which is correctly set out.
• Ensure all rolls are marked and accounts, notices and newsletters are given out accordingly.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to and an accident report form filled out.

YMCA Jamboree Heights are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach to join our growing team on a Casual basis based in Jamboree Heights

What will my time look like?

• Timely set-up of gymnastics equipment and commencement of the class
