Job summary

YMCA Victoria Point seeks a qualified MAG Instructor to deliver both competitive boys' MAG program and recreational boys' gymnastics sessions. You will ensure safe setup, progressive coaching, and age-appropriate activities for our young athletes.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG).
• Experience coaching boys in recreational and/or competitive gymnastics.
• Passionate about developing young athletes and helping them reach their potential.
• Ability to deliver engaging, progressive and age-appropriate sessions.
• Current Senior First Aid & CPR, or willingness to obtain.
• Current National Police Check within 6 months, willingness to obtain.
• Current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Timely set-up of gymnastics equipment and commencement of the class.
• Check that all activities have adequate matting which is correctly/safely set out.
• Ensure that if an accident happens all safety procedures are adhered to, and an accident report form filled out.
• Complete administration duties, as required.

What will my time look like?

• Timely set-up of gymnastics equipment and commencement of the class
• Check that all activities have adequate matting which is correctly/safely set out
• Ensure all rolls are marked and accounts, notices and newsletters are given out accordingly
• Ensure that if an accident happens all safety procedures are adhered to, and an accident report form filled out
• Complete administration duties, as required

Am I a good match?
