Job summary

The Wests Group Australia invites applications for a full-time Door Attendant at our Mayfield site. You will greet members and guests, monitor entry and help describe club facilities and events while ensuring compliance with RSA regulations.

We seek an energetic team player with strong customer service and leadership skills, capable of problem solving and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. RSA and RCG certifications are required; prior hospitality experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Energetic team player with a passion for customer service in hospitality.
• Strong communication and leadership qualities.
• Gift of problem solving and people skills to manage compliance.
• Previous experience in a similar position is desirable.
• Honesty, integrity and customer service are a primary focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with enthusiasm and project a positive, friendly image.
• Ensure all members and guests sign in as per regulations.
• Advise members and guests on Club facilities and events.
• Promote and process Wests memberships.
• Check employee and contractor identification.
• Monitor and enforce RSA legislation.
• Liaise with security and Duty Managers on entry refusals due to intoxication.
