Job summary

Delaware North Australia is recruiting a Guest Services Attendant for Lizard Island Resort, a remote island retreat on the Great Barrier Reef. You will welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out and ensure a premium guest experience from arrival to departure.

Based on the world-heritage reef location, you will engage guests with exceptional service, handle requests, and liaise with resort departments to deliver memorable experiences while upholding the Relais & Châteaux standard.

Qualifications

• Extensive hotel/resort front office experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise daily tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using OPERA (PMS) system highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain current knowledge of daily VIPs, hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers.
• Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service. Ensure that the guest is the first priority at all times and be proactive with their needs.
• Liaise with various resort departments to ensure our guests experience the most memorable of experiences and the very highest levels of service.
