Job summary

Delaware North at Lizard Island Resort is hiring a Guest Services Attendant to deliver a premium guest experience on the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. The role covers arrival to departure, welcoming guests and handling requests on a tropical island setting.

Ideal candidates will have extensive front office hospitality experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to organise daily tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Extensive hotel/resort front office experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to organise and prioritise daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience using OPERA (PMS) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of VIPs, hotel products, services, pricing and promotions.
• Provide high level of positive guest service and be proactive with guest needs.
• Liaise with resort departments to deliver memorable guest experiences.

What will you do?

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out
• Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently
• Maintain current knowledge of daily VIPs, hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers
• Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service. Ensure that the guest is the first priority at all times and be proactive with their needs
• Liaise with various resort departments to ensure our guests experience the most memorable of experiences and the very highest levels of service
