Job summary

ALH Hotels in Melbourne is seeking a Guest Services Attendant (Housekeeping) to ensure rooms are guest-ready with attention to detail and a friendly touch.

You will follow cleaning schedules, assist with maintenance requests, and collaborate with Front Office to fulfill special guest requests, while embracing a hands-on, physical role that keeps you active throughout shifts.

About The Role

Guest Services Attendant (Housekeeping) | Shoppingtown Hotel

We’re searching for a our very own ‘Rosie the Robot’ - you know, from The Jetsons - a Housekeeper known for their work ethic and efficiency.

A day in the life of a Guest Services Attendant:

• Making every room feel like home away from home
• Follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
• Help the Publican know what needs repair and maintenance throughout accommodation
• Make our guests stay special by working with the Front Office team to deliver special requests

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
