Travel + Leisure Co. in Port Macquarie is seeking a Guest Service Generalist to deliver warm, professional service across front office, food & beverage and maintenance. You’ll support check-in/check-out, assist in restaurants and cafés, and help keep areas clean and inviting while sharing local tips and resort information.

Bring hospitality passion, strong communication skills, and RSA certification; flexibility to work weekends and evenings is essential in a lively resort environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food & beverage, café, bar or hotel environment is desirable.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate required.
• Passion for hospitality and helping others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional service to guests across resort departments.
• Support Front Office operations including check-in, check-out, and guest enquiries.
• Assist the Food & Beverage team with service in the restaurant, bar, or café.
• Work with Housekeeping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Provide accurate information and personalised recommendations about resort facilities and local attractions.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
• Carry out maintenance functions such as maintaining guest accommodation and common areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and support smooth daily operations across all teams.

How You'll Shine

The Guest Service Generalist is responsible for completing daily front office, food & beverage & maintenance functions. Ensuring that all Owners and Guests receive efficient and courteous service; making them feel welcome during their entire stay through a proactive and positive attitude. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support Front Office operations including check-in, check-out, and guest enquiries
• Assist the Food & Beverage team with service in the restaurant, bar, or café
• Work alongside the Housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Provide accurate information and personalised recommendations about resort facilities and local attractions
• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are followed to maintain consistency and quality
• Maintenance functions such as maintaining guest accommodation and common areas
• Respond promptly to guest requests and support smooth daily operations across all teams
