InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef is seeking a Guest Service Agent on Hayman Island, Queensland. You will manage front desk transactions, provide local recommendations, and ensure a seamless, memorable stay for guests in a luxury five-star setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a 5-star front desk role and can relocate to Hayman Island with Australian working rights. Base hourly rate applies, with a 38-hour week across a 7-day roster including weekends.

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the person our guests rely on to handle transactions at the front desk, offer local insights, and anticipate every detail of their stay to ensure it is seamless and memorable. You will be an excellent brand ambassador and create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

What we need from you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. Ideally you will have you’ll have spent a minimum of one year in a 5 star front desk or guest service position and be able to provide a high-level of service excellence to InterContinental Hayman Island Resort’s valued guests.

Previous experience in Opera is desirable but not essential.

About you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations.

You must have the ability to relocate and live on Hayman Island, Queensland and commence position ideally by 7 December 2026, along with appropriate Australian working rights. What we offer Appropriate Australian working rights are required for this role.

The base hourly rate for this role is $28.38 under the Hayman Island Enterprise Agreement, working a minimum of 38 hours a week across a 7-day roster including days, nights and weekends.
