Job summary

EVT Group is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver warm, professional service at the front desk of our hotels. You will manage check-ins/outs, handle guest accounts, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Reservations to meet guest expectations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a GSA role in a hotel or similar setting.
• Proven ability to deliver warm, professional, efficient guest service.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in front office operations including check-in/out and handling guest accounts.
• Ability to build strong relationships with other hotel departments.
• Ability to handle multiple requests and maintain high service levels.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and booking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, providing warm welcomes and farewells, and promptly responding to requests, messages, and concerns.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, including accurate check-in/check-out, cashiering, daily transactions, and opening/closing duties in line with hotel procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance, and other teams to ensure rooms, special requests, and guest expectations are fully met.
• Maintain accurate reservations, room rates, packages, and local area knowledge to confidently assist guests and maximise service quality.
• Uphold hotel policies, WHS standards, training requirements, and equipment care while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
