Job summary

Dorsett Gold Coast in Broadbeach is a stylish, contemporary hotel offering modern facilities and genuine hospitality. As a Full Time Guest Service Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless arrival experience.

You’ll handle check-ins/check-outs, assist with reservations and requests, and collaborate with housekeeping and other teams to deliver memorable stays. A flexible weekend/holiday roster is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or front desk roles.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Availability to rotate weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and welcoming experience to all guests upon arrival and departure
• Process check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner
• Answer phone calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally
• Assist with guest reservations, room assignments, and special requests
• Ensure all front desk operations are completed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to offer tailored recommendations
• Support all aspects of customer-facing operations, ensuring a consistently high level of service across the hotel
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
