Job summary

Brisbane Gateway Resort is seeking a full-time Guest Service Agent to join our front office team on the sunny south side of Brisbane. You will be the primary point of contact for guests during their stay, handling reservations, check-ins and reception duties with a focus on personalized service.

The ideal candidate is well-presented, proactive and enjoys helping people, with strong computer, organisational and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality service in reservations, check-ins and customer service in accommodation.
• Proficient with reservation software systems and front desk tools.
• Effective communicator with guests at all levels, professional and courteous.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, well-presented, proactive person with an engaging personality, who enjoys providing great service, to join our front office team on a long-term basis.

You will act as a primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay, offering prompt assistance, resolving issues, and providing personalised recommendations to enhance their experience.

The role involves reservations, check-in and reception functions related to guests and tenants of the resort, together with assisting in management and administrative functions.

This outstanding opportunity requires a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills; strong computer, organisational and time management skills; working independently within a small team; excellent attention to detail; and a pride in your role and the service you deliver.

Qualifications

• have a demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service in the areas of reservations, check-ins and customer service in the accommodation industry;
• be proficient in the use of reservation software systems;
• be an effective communicator, able to deal with people at all levels with professionalism, courtesy, tact and understanding;
• maintain a polished and professional presentation, reflecting the values and standards of the organisation;
• be available to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday and public holidays;
• have permanent work rights within Australia, with no restrictions, at the time of applying.
