Job summary

Veriu Group is expanding in Canberra with Punthill Narrabundah, seeking a Front Office host to welcome guests and ensure memorable stays. You’ll join a small team, report to the Hotel Manager, and contribute to Veri-Best service standards in a flexible, Australian-owned hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Approved Australian working rights (Citizen, PR or visa with working rights).
• First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of guest services at check-in/check-out and during stay.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues with care.
• Be the local point of contact for guests and offer recommendations.
• Handle emergencies professionally and calmly.
• Support the Hotel Manager to maintain Veri-Best standards.
• Contribute to initiatives to increase returning and new guests.
