Job summary

Punthill Narrabundah is an apartment-style hotel in Canberra’s Inner South, part of the Punthill Apartment Hotels network. We seek a team member who delivers high-quality guest services, helps guests with local recommendations, and handles issues with creative, caring resolutions.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays. This role offers growth within an Australian-owned hotel group and meaningful career opportunities.

Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Approved Australian working rights.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level guest services at check-in/check-out and during guests' stay.
• Offer creative resolutions to complaints and issues.
• Be the host and local point of contact with strong knowledge of the area for guests.
• Respond to emergencies in a safe, professional manner.
• Identify opportunities to increase guest return and new bookings.
• Support the Hotel Manager to ensure standards are met across operations.
