Job summary

Australia Zoo is seeking a Guest Experience Supervisor to lead our Guest Experience team in delivering outstanding service across daily operations. In this full-time role you will greet visitors, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standards of customer care during shows and events.

You will handle POS transactions, assist with day sheets, stock deliveries, and maintain clean, safe guest areas. Weekend, public holiday, and school holiday availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers, assisting guests with enquiries.
• Point-of-sale processing including register operation and payments.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Assist with coordinating day sheets and operational requirements.
• Describe product features and benefits to guests.
• Assist with crowd control during shows and events.
• Work within procedures and KPI targets.
• Receive and store stock deliveries.
• Keep displays and communications up to date.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Guest Experience team in a Full Time capacity as a Guest Experience Supervisor!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Welcome and greet customers, assisting guests with enquiries.

Point-of-sale processing including register operation, receiving and processing cash or credit payments.

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.

Assist the Guest Experience Manager with coordinating day sheets and meeting operational requirements.

Ability to accurately describe a products features and benefits.

Assist with Crowd control and customer movements during daily shows and Event days.

Working within procedures and KPI's.

Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.

Keeping up to date with special promotions, staff memos, communications book and putting up displays.

General Staff Responsibilities:

Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service standards at all times.

Provide and maintain gold standard cleaning standards within the area of your work.

Provide strong leadership of the team and continual improvement of the department processes and procedures.

Hold current Driver's Licence.

Proven ability to supervise a team.

Available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods.
