Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Guest Experience Host Team Leader to join our multi-state team in Australia. You will lead onsite Guest Experience Hosts, schedule Owner Updates and Club presentations, and generate sales appointments for our resort and livestream channels.

The role requires strong customer service skills, a background in hotel/resort environments, and the ability to build rapport with guests while meeting key performance targets. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant full time experience in a hotel/resort environment or relevant Certificate IV.
• Knowledge and application of sales techniques to convert guest interest into bookings.
• Ability to quickly build rapport and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities and performance of the Guest Experience Hosts onsite
• Schedule onsite resident guests to Owner Updates or regular Club presentations during the guest's stay
• Generate sales appointments for our sales centers located at our resorts and via livestream
• Establish rapport with customers to ensure an exceptional experience
• Collaborate with resort operations to ensure seamless check-in for owners and guests
• Articulate the benefits of traveling with Travel + Leisure Co to guests
• Meet targets and KPIs set by the business
• Be available for weekend and public holiday shifts

How You'll Shine

• Lead the activities and performance of the Guest Experience Hosts onsite
• Schedule onsite resident guests to Owner Updates or regular Club presentations, as appropriate, during the guest's stay at the resort property
• Generate sales appointments for our sales centers located at our amazing resorts and via livestream
• Establish commonality and build rapport with your customers to ensure an exceptional experience is delivered
• Work closely with the resort operations team in order to provide a high level of service and a seamless transition for owners and guests through the check in process
• Clearly articulate the benefit of traveling within Travel + Leisure Co community
• Meet targets and KPI's as set by the business
• This role requires you to be available for weekend and public holiday shifts
• Display leadership values by ensuring effective communication and respecting your peers and managers. Support others within the team and empower each other wherever possible

Who are we looking for?

• At least three years of relevant full time experience or relevant Certificate IV and 12 months full time experience
• Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel/resort environment
• Demonstrates strong customer service values in all activities
• Knowledge and application of sales techniques
• Ability to quickly build rapport
• Sound problem solving and persuasive skills
• Ability to work effectively with all levels employees and guests
• Working knowledge of computer software and sales applications
