Job summary

Colonial Group in Port Douglas is seeking aHotel All Rounder on a flexible, rotating schedule to support Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Front Office. You will deliver guest-focused service, maintain safety and comfort, and help create memorable stays across all departments.

Applicants should be ready to work nights, weekends and holidays with a positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork. RSA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing hospitality role is a plus.
• RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory.
• Flexible rotating schedule including nights, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
• Positive attitude with problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning guest rooms and public spaces to create an outstanding first impression.
• Use cleaning materials and chemicals with care, adhering to safety protocols.
• Offer personalised food and beverage suggestions in outlets or during events.
• Proactively source information to expand product knowledge.
• Be the go-to source for information on neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems.
• From check-in to check-out, deliver exceptional hospitality for a memorable stay.
• Communicate confidently with guests and colleagues to enable seamless teamwork.
